THINGS TO DO: Rock out with Columbia’s Vista’s Lights
November 11, 2007 4:46 pm Lake Murray, Richland, activity, ballentine, blythewood, chapin, columbia, environment, event, fun, irmo, lexington, nightlife, relocation, south carolina, things to doWhat a great program - many groups are getting together to sponsor a “Smoke Out” supporting the decision to make Columbia’s nightlife locales a smoke-free environment,
with a concert under the Vista’s Lights on November 15th.
“…Columbia Regional Visitors Center in collaboration with the Christopher Conner Foundation, the SC Tobacco Collaborative, the Musicians and Songwriters Guild of SC, Vaudevillain Imaging and MacDougall’s Restaurant & Bar will host an outdoor concert in correlation to the Vista Lights event. The concert is to promote the Rock ‘N a Hard Place - Musicians for a Smoke-Free South Carolina calendar. The concert will take place outside the Columbia Regional Visitors Center, at 1101 Lincoln Street. Performances will begin at 5 p.m. and is expected to last until 11 p.m.”
Sounds like a great time to me - fun, food and music! For more details, check it out here:
