Are you looking for something fun to do on Independence Day? There are all sorts of activities from on land and on water around Lake Murray.
If you’re a boater, be sure to register your boat for the boat parade which will take place at noon on July 4th. The more patriotic, the better! Register here. Hurry, registration ends on June 25th!
At 8 p.m. on July 5th, grab a blanket or chair and head to Dreher Island State Park to hear the Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra perform patriotic tunes! The fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. after the show. The fireworks will be choreographed to music that will be simulcasted on WTCB/B106.7 FM and MAGIC 98.5 FM.
